One of the largest provinces in Cambodia, Koh Kong is a stunning destination with miles of beautiful coastline surrounded by the lush tropical jungles and rainforests of the Cardamom and Elephant Mountains.
Koh Kong is a quaint border province that has long had a reputation as a 'Wild West' frontier location. Situated at the south-western tip of the country near the mouth of the Kah Bpow River, Koh Kong has a long coastline and a large forested interior that embraces part of the least developed and unspoiled Cardamom Mountains. Rich in natural beauty, Tatai River is your highway to the wonders of the Cardamom rainforest and Southeast Asia’s largest coastal mangrove. Amidst thick forest, streams and charming waterfalls, the adventure rewards with scenic sites for great photography.
For the keen eco-lovers, venture deep into an extensive mangrove forest of Koh Kong where your will be rewarded by hours of awesome thrills just by observing these natural wonders and the lives that evolve in their midst.

Day 01: Phnom Penh – Koh Kong (4Rivers Eco-Lodge) by Land |
  
Today, depart for 4 rivers floating Eco-lodge (Koh Kong Province) by overland which takes about 5-hour drive (271 km) through local villages and mountains scenery.
However, to get to 4Rivers floating eco-lodge, you will have to travel from the Phum Doung Bridge by a local wooden boat around 30-minute drive. Check in for accommodation.
Note: Daily boat transfer schedule:
- Check-in times: 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- Check-out times: 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM
Late afternoon Tour: Paradise Regained- Sunset Cruise (Shared Tour)
- How long: departure at 4.30pm, 2-3 hours or as long as you are enjoying yourselves
- You should bring: your camera
- Includes: cruise aboard a local boat, your guide
Leave your worries behind and cruise off into the Cardamoms’ superb sunset and snuggle up as the sun paints the sky with vivid colours. As your boat cruises the waters of Tatai River with a warm ocean breeze, the descending darkness embraces you in the lush green of the forest and brings the misty mountains closer as the tropical sun dips to the horizon and transforms the skies into a spectacle showing off magnificent shades. Its spectacular lights add a whole new dimension and an unforgettable memory to your 4 Rivers experience.

Breakfast at the hotel
Today Tour: Nature’s Spa – Tatai Waterfall by boat (Shared Tour)
- How long: departure at 10am, 5-6 hours or as long as you are enjoying yourselves
- You should bring: sun block, a hat or a cap, slippers and swimming costume, your camera
- Includes:cruise aboard a local boat, your guide, picnic lunch, mineral water
One of the must-sees of the region, the thunder of the majestic Tatai Falls reveals the river’s true power as it drops 6 meters to the rocks below. Your day, depending on the tide, starts at around 10am for the 45-minute boat ride past Tatai village to the falls.
Turning on to a tributary you head into the heart of the Cardamom jungle to the far-off sounds of exotic birds and its secretive wildlife. Within minutes you are at journey’s end, gazing down into the turbulent waters of the falls.
Soon it’s time for lunch, maybe a few moments hydro-massage and a refreshing drink as you find some shade for a picnic and open your senses to the sights and sounds of the jungle. We will also arrange to transport some kayaks for your added fun and adventure.
After leaving the falls, we stop at the mouth of a small river where you can paddle your kayak to a traditional Cambodian farm; you will see rice fields and some fruit trees depending of the season.

Day 03: 4Rivers Eco-Lodge (Koh Kong) – Phnom Penh/ Departure (By Land) |
Breakfast at resort
This morning is your leisure time as long as you are enjoying with the resort.
Embark on a private boat for the transfer from the floating tent to the shore and then continue by your private vehicle to Phnom Penh (OR to connect your onward flight). The transfer time is approximately 5 hours (271 km).
